I know lm being paranoid but guys what does this mean?

well me and this guy have our past and we havent spoken in ages like 1 month i think , so today we ad a lesson together and i answered a question that the teacher asked and he whispered something in his fiends ear and they started laughing , am i just being paranoid or they were laughing at me and also pfft he was looking at me when i was talking to my friends
