What is a good career to persue?

I am thinking of going into accountancy or either being an electrician, which one would there be more money in?, i have a cousin who is an electrician and has a massive house and does earn well and i could start doing that now with him and then there is the option of accountancy which i would have to spend years in college for with no money and sharing a house with other people, so which onw would be better, i like the look of an accountant with the suit and briefcase etc.
