Book selection problem!?

Is it stupid to think that once you've read the harry Potter Series, all other books out there (or at least the ones I've checked) just aren't as interesting or well-written? I've had that exact problem. I'll pick up a book, get a gist of the writing and plot, and think, "Pfft, Harry Potter was WAY better than this." Now, the books I would have once though interesting and good, I can't make it past the first few chapters. I asked my friend-- she said she had had this problem. Maybe I'm just being dramatic... :]
