Do 12r interior electricians deploy a lot?

well recently i wanted to be an eod bbut my parents said no.. so do 12r electricians deploy? or 12 t technical engineers deploy. is there any engineering job that doesnt deploy? i will deploy eventualyl when im 21.. but parents are saying no for no please answer asap i swear in on monday
