My window AC keeps blowing the fuse? It's worked fine for the last couple of years?

Most A/C window units blow fuses because the blower or compressor motors aren't starting properly. Because your unit runs for several minutes before the circuit breaker trips, I think that the blower motor needs lubrication or cleaning. The motor is overheating because it doesn't turn freely. The cover should be removed from the unit and the fan should be turned by hand to see if it turns easily. Hopefully you can do this without taking the whole unit apart.
